The Jetta comes equipped with dual front, dual front side and curtain airbags as standard equipment, along with ABS anti-lock brakes with ASR. The ESP feature is standard on the Jetta 2.0 TDI and optional on all other models.

LED-technology brake lights and rear indicator lights are fitted to the Jetta, increasing illumination response time and improving awareness and visibility for those following you. LED lights also consume less power and last longer than conventional light bulbs.

For younger passengers, the Jetta features ISOFIX mounting brackets on the rear seat bench to enable fitment of child seats.

Economy with the Jetta BlueMotion

The Jetta BlueMotion, with an average consumption of just 4.6 L/100km is one of the most economical mid sized sedans available. Naturally, CO2 emissions are also very low at just 122 g/km.

The Jetta BlueMotion is powered by the 1.9 TDI engine, which turns slower when idling. The 5 speed manual gearbox was given longer gear rations in gears three through five. The car’s aerodynamics offer fewer points for the driving air to take hold with its standard sports chassis, partially enclosed radiator grille and trimmed underbody. Smooth running tires reduce rolling resistance and round out the BlueMotion package together with a gear recommendation in the Multifunctional Display Plus.
