The wood-trimmed cupboard fittings are made of an innovative lightweight material. The corrugated inner core of the aluminium panels ensures stability of the cupboard surfaces and makes flowing curves possible instead of sharp 90° edges. The wardrobe and linen cupboard at the rear are opened by a combination of a hinged door and a roller shutter. The driver’s and the front passenger’s seat can be swivelled through about 180°. So you can change the California’s interior into a cosy living or dining room in the twinkling of an eye.

The upper berth under the California’s elevating roof benefits measurably from the generally larger dimensions of the new body. Its width of 120 cm and length of 200 cm promise a good night’s rest. In addition, the higher lift of the roof’s concertina mechanism gives more headroom over the entire length of the elevating roof. The mosquito nets in the roof bellows ensure fresh air, and the opening down to the cab is closed off by a roller shutter. The roof is opened on menu command, even with an additional roof load of up to 50 kg. How about that for fantastic prospects!
